L. Omolola Ikwuagwu (Mrs.)
Lola
was admitted to the Nigerian Bar (BL) in 1988. Prior to that, she
earned her Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B.Hons) from the University of
Benin, Nigeria in 1987. She also has a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) from
University of Lagos, Nigeria (1992). She has attended several courses
on Maritime and Shipping Law and Arbitration, both in Nigeria and the
United Kingdom.
She is a Notary Public of Nigeria.
She
is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Chartered Institute
of Arbitrators (MCIarb) (UK), Nigerian Society of International Law (NSIL) , the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Nigerian Maritime Law Association (NMLA).

heads the Shipping Law Department of the firm. She is a part time
lecturer in international commercial arbitration and has contributed

is an active member of the Section on Business Law of the Nigerian Bar
Association and was recently appointed Chairman of the Logistics
Committee of the Section.
She speaks English, Yoruba, Igbo and French.
Lola is an ardent reader of legal journals and loves the dramatic arts.
